Before & After in the Poppy Field

I received a question about the Straight Out Of Camera (SOOC) of this image so...here we go! :-)

It was actually a pretty quick edit, with most of the work in Lightroom! I added some contrast (+10) and raised the shadows (+40). In the HSL panel, I increased the yellow hue, lowered the yellow saturation and lowered the yellow luminance to reduce the neon yellow tones in the poppy stalks and grass. I also added a light vignette (-8).

Then I added 2 gradient filters and this is where the image started to come to life! I dragged one gradient filter from the top to enhance the sky, reducing the shadows, adding clarity and adding dehaze. Next I dragged one gradient filter up from the bottom, increasing the exposure by 0.9.

Just to finish, I took the image into Photoshop, cloned out a few distractions and added a little sunflare...and voilà! Let me know if you have any questions!
