Serenity Circle - March 2019

March 20, 2019  •  9 Comments

As time flies by and each day seems to go by quicker than the one before it, becoming a blur of school bags, library books, packed lunches and the other million or so little bits and pieces that make up the routine, it's easy to get caught up in the whirlwind.

But when I choose to pick up my camera, slowing everything down to create a landscape image, that is truly my relaxing 'me time'. I created this image on a visit to the beach, little one, husband and dog racing around at the other side of the beach. I just took a few moments to soak it all in and try to capture the moment, that feeling of calm. So this is what those few minutes looked like.

Please take a moment to visit talented artist and friend, Eileen Critchley, Ohio Photographer, who is next in the circle this month.

Jill, you are so good at seeing light. While staring at this image, I can see so many different shades and textures. The angle leads me right to the structure in the background. Your family does such fun things.

I love the lines, light and shadows in this! Oh so beautiful!
Oh, I so love the beach, and I miss it. It truly is a place of serenity, and I wish we lived closer to one. I would be there every single day. Such a beautiful image, Jillian. I really makes me long to be there, right now.

The beach, if it were close by, would definitely be my go to spot to find some calm moments. Beautifully textured image.
